Overview
Dr. Yutaka Matsuo is our Senior Advisor and a professor at the University of Tokyo, working on artificial intelligence (AI) with focus on deep learning and web mining. He conducts research on AI with the web services and its business models, such as data analysis of social media, knowledge structuring, and the impact to the society and economy.
With experiences as a visiting scholar at Stanford University and a visiting associate professor at National University of Singapore, he now serves as a professor of the University of Tokyo at the Department of Technology Management for Innovation (TMI), Graduate School of Engineering. He also serves as the president of Japan Deep Learning Association (JDLA; 2017-), and as a member of the Board of Director at SoftBank Group Corp (2019-).
