Debashis Chatterjee

Debashis Chatterjee (DC) is a Senior Advisor at YCP, with over 35 years of business and technology experience driving multi-billion-dollar transformations and strategic growth initiatives across Fortune 500 clients and global enterprises. He is currently a director of Ascendion, an AI-led software engineering firm; Adastra, a Carlyle portfolio company; and Brigade Enterprises Limited. He has served for more than 10 years on the Boards of leading companies such as Cognizant India, Mindtree, and LTIMindtree.

Most recently, DC served as CEO of LTIMindtree. He is widely recognised for architecting and executing one of the Indian IT industry's most complex, high-stakes mergers between Larsen & Toubro Infotech and Mindtree, culminating in the formation of LTIMindtree, one of India’s top 5 IT services firms. Before that, he served as CEO of Mindtree, and during his tenure, the market capitalization rose ~7x from USD 1.6B to a high of USD 10.9B.

Prior to that, DC spent over two decades at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where he held several key leadership roles, including his tenure as President of Digital Systems & Technology, where he led the company’s largest business unit with over USD 6B in annual revenue.
