SINGAPORE, November 2022 — YCP Holdings (Global) Limited has executed a Business Alliance agreement to establish a joint venture with TC Capital Pte. Ltd., an investment banking firm in Singapore with extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and SEA corporate finance, to strengthen the Group’s core Management Service business.
TC Capital is an independent investment banking firm founded in 2002 by Dr. Tommy Tan, the former Head of Investment Banking in Southeast Asia for Morgan Stanley, and Mr. Ravi Chidambaram, former Managing Director of Investment Banking at both Deutsche Bank and Bear Stearns. TC Capital has a solid business foundation and grasp of the Southeast Asian region, working with clients in various sectors such as Financial Services, Retail, Energy, Environment, and Financial Sponsors.
Both YCP Group and TC Capital have strong synergy in the areas of M&A support and Project Management. Under the newly established JV, both firms will work together to provide solutions for clients seeking to expand their businesses in Southeast Asia through the strength and experience of TC Capital’s management team, and the overall process and execution management of YCP Group’s professionals.
Tommy Tan will be the Group’s Southeast Asia Regional Chairman, while Mr. Ravi Chidambaram and Mr. Masaru Shibata, both Partners at TC Capital, will assume the positions of Executive Partners.
