SINGAPORE, MAY 2023 — YCP Holdings has won the Management Consulting Award at the Singapore Business Review’s National Business Awards, held last May 23, 2023 at the Marina Bay Sands. YCP Holdings was selected as the winner based on the Group’s unique APAC-wide footprint, coupled with its successful IPO listing in November 2021 on the Mothers board of the Tokyo Stock Exchange through the Japan Depository Receipt (JDR) scheme.
The Group was represented by Director and Group CEO Yuki Ishida, Management Service Division CEO and Managing Partner Pilar Dieter, Southeast Asia Regional Chairman Dr. Tommy Tan, Group CFO Victor Hui, and Finance Director PeiChi Tan.
YCP Holdings’ listing through the JDR scheme is only the third-ever such listing in the history of the TSE, and was the largest deal size through JDR. The panel of respected judges also recognized the milestones achieved by YCP Holdings since its IPO listing, such as:
Introducing new business units of Digital Transformation, Interactive Solutions, and Sustainability within the Management Service division in May 2022.
Following the successful acquisition of Animal Medica Co., Lifemate Animal Emergency Center, Inc. was established in July 2022 to expand its roster of animal hospitals across Japan
Expanding its F&B investments through the acquisition of ARUKI Corporation, a restaurant group operating the brands Umi Hachikyo, Mare Hachikyo, and Crab Gang Hokkaido Ramen.
Investing in the Asia-Pacific region through the acquisition of India-based consulting firm Auctus Advisors in December 2022, and forming a business alliance agreement for a joint venture with Singapore-based investment banking firm, TC Capital.
The National Business Awards program was launched by esteemed business publication Singapore Business Review in 2016, and honors local and homegrown companies within the country. It recognizes outstanding projects and companies that have a great contribution to Singapore’ fast-growing economy.
